“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few!” With this proclamation, the LORD indicates He desires us to stand ready to give our testimony and go. We must be obvious to all who are with us – every human being on the planet. But the question is: How? How do we share our story with someone we know?
The Gospel is a more than just a story, it is a lifestyle of dedicated commitment. Infrequently it happens that, in sharing our testimony with someone, they respond by getting saved. But still the problem is real! How do we tell them?
The way we message our friends about Who we serve and why is very simple. We tell them our secrets. They are our friends and need no special treatment to know what we believe and why.
God does not have secret service agents. We are willing, as we become Christians, to serve Him in this way and let others know who we serve and why. Jesus Christ is not prompting us to become great evangelists. There is great strength in life when we share our experience with our friends. Just share it! Say it! Do it!
The LORD says that if a city (or home) rejects us, leave them. They will live (or die) with their beliefs. But if they accept us? Well then we have a friend for ETERNTITY!!!
